Arlene R. Youtz, 100, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at Alpine Valley Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick H. Youtz.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Sept. 19, 1925, Arlene was a daughter of the late Arthur and Helen (Brandt) Shultz. She loved working with her hands and could always be found making the world a more beautiful place, tending away in her garden, making crafts, or knitting. Her favorite thing was taking care of her home and caring for her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her children, Sharon Lee Weaver, wife of Brian, and Peggy Joan Scharenbroch; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Jeremy, and Brian; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Biever; niece; and four nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda S. DiBlasio; son-in-law, Donald Scharenbroch; grandson, Jeffrey Scharenbroch; granddaughter, Kim Mendoza; two brothers; sister; niece; and nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park. A viewing will be held prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
