Arthur Kling, Jr., 88, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon.  He was born Friday, Aug. 19, 1932, to the late Arthur and Florence M. (Peters) Kling.  He is predeceased by his loving wife, Marjorie (Posey) Kling.Â
Art was a proud Army Veteran who served in Korea as a Sergeant.  He graduated from Lititz High School and continued his education at Franklin and Marshall College with a major in finance and a minor in accounting.  Art was a Mastor Mason and a Scottish Rite Mason of the 32 Degree and a Zembo Shriner.
Art was a lifetime member of the Palmyra First United Methodist Church where he also sang in the choir.  He also served on the board of supervisors of North Londonderry Township for 12 years.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time at his Florida home, golfing, and spending time with his dog, Teddy.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son.Â
He is survived by his children, Robert Kling and wife Laurie, Kimberley Kling, and Sandra Neidlinger and husband Rick, and grandchildren, Elizabeth Kinney, Daniel Kling, and Rachel Behney.  He is predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Gassert.Â
A memorial service at the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory and graveside service at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with military honors will take place at a later date.
