Arthur M. Bragg, 94, of Jonestown, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Stone Ridge Poplar Run in Myerstown. He was the husband of the late Mildred E. Blouch Bragg.
Born in Philadelphia on June 8, 1929, he was the son of the late Charles M. and Hazel M. High Bragg.
Art lived at the Milton Hershey Home and attended the School as a young person. Arthur worked as a mechanical engineer for Goodhart & Sons Sheetmetal Fabrication in Lancaster. He was a member of the former Victory Lighthouse Church in Lickdale. Arthur was a founding member of the Herald Gospel Quartet. For many years, he served as a Union Township Supervisor.
He is survived by his sons, James A. (Jean) Bragg, of Jonestown, Gerald (Flo) Bragg, of Lebanon, Dean Bragg, of Cleona, and Vaughn Bragg, of Greer, SC; daughters, Sofia Pearlman, of Camp Hill, and Frances Bragg, of Jonestown; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, LaFrance L. Bragg, of Lakeside, CA.
He was preceded in death by his son, Zyndell Bragg.
