Audrey F. “Peggy” Shirk, 89, of Lebanon, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Carl L. Shirk.

Born in Grantville on Sept. 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Hazel (Heatwole) Wine. Audrey was a member of Rocherty United Methodist Church, where she was in the choir and served on various committees. She was a Farm Women member and worked hard with her husband on their farm, all while raising six children. She enjoyed reading, word search, and the Virginia mountains. Most of all, her great love was her family, and she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are children, Cheryl F. Fossi (Peter), of Lebanon, Audrey Jean Bucher (Ronald), of Lebanon, Carl David Shirk (Stacy), of Denver, CO, Roy D. Shirk (Beverly), of Lebanon, Dawn M. Arnold (Thomas), of Lebanon, and Crystal L. Vernet (Bruce), of Palmyra, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren, sister, Rachel Stover, and brother James Wine. She was preceded in death by eleven siblings.
