Audrey “Jeanette” Olive, 89, of Palmyra, PA, died on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at Londonderry Village, Palmyra. She was the wife of Rev. Howard “Bud” Hoover Olive Jr., who died on Oct. 9, 2018.

Born in Roanoke, VA, on Dec. 7, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Dillard and Dora Grace (Wimmer) Eggleston. A graduate of Andrew Lewis High School, Salem, VA, she was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church, Lebanon. After she and Bud married in 1954, they moved to New York, where Jeanette was employed as a secretary at Lederle Laboratories, Pearl River, NY. She later provided secretarial services at the Patchogue First Baptist Church in New York, where Bud was the youth pastor. Later, she assisted Bud with his ministry and missionary work at Life in Messiah. Jeanette volunteered at the Lebanon Community Library and enjoyed crafts, music, playing piano, gardening, reading, crocheting, and was a fabulous cook and baker.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jane Gold, of Salem, VA; sons, Paul Douglas Olive, and his partner, Annette Burris, of Robesonia, and David Howard, husband of Sherri Olive, of Lebanon; and grandchildren, Christian A. Gold, of Atlanta, GA, Dalton C. Olive, and Dillon J. Olive, of Lebanon. Additional surviving family members are nieces and nephews, children of Rebecca Sue (dec’d), wife of Paul Perkins, of Vineland, NJ.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at 12 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Myerstown.
