Avis G. Blosick, 92, of Cornwall, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at the WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the wife of the late John E. Blosick.

Born in Lyndon, Vermont, on March 5, 1933, Avis was a daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Pollard) Gilson. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Eastern Star, and the Lebanon and Manheim Township library book clubs. She enjoyed quilting and playing Mahjong.

Avis is survived by her children, Cheryl Murray, wife of Dan, Dr. Kathy Feest, wife of Terry, and Deborah Steeves; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Gilson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Valerie Fisher; step-son, Dr. Gregory Blosick; and brother, Paul Gilson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 2596 Cornwall Road, Cornwall, PA 17016. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be held on Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at 1:30 p.m., at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Those attending, please gather at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042, at 12:30 p.m. to depart for the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
