Avis Lee Malcom Jr., 57, of Newmanstown, passed away on Saturday evening, May 6, 2023.

He was born on Monday, May 10, 1965, to the late Avis Lee Malcom Sr. and Rosann H. Frederick in Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Avis was a hard worker who started one of the first Lawn Care services in the area named The Perfect Touch Lawn Care and Landscaping. He had been a mechanic for 16 years prior.

Avis was a member of the American Pool League Association and Historic Shaefferstown, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and horseshoes, fantasy football, camping, doing sound mixing for his wife’s band, Twinsister, listening to rock music, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda Holt; children, Nicole Huyck, and spouse, Bryan, Avis L. Malcom III, Kyle Malcom, and spouse, Sierra, and Verana Stark, and spouse, Dillon; step-daughter, Charmaine Newman, and spouse, Eugene (Jay); 12 grandchildren; siblings, Ravina Breden, Vincent Malcom, and Jason Malcom, and their spouses; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his son, Kevin L. Malcom.

A memorial of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
