B. John Miller, 65, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center surrounded by family. He was the husband of Irene I. (Deitzler) Miller. On Nov. 29, 2020, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on Feb. 26, 1955, he was the son of the late John B. and Margaret (Schreiber) Miller. John retired from Blatt’s Pattern Shop in Bethel, where he had worked as a machinist. He was a 35-year member of the Camp Strause Fire Co. and a member of the Fredericksburg American Legion. He enjoyed traveling, vacationing at the beach, going upstate, working on classic cars in the garage, taking kids for rides on the golf cart, and, especially, spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, John W. Miller, of Fredericksburg; sister, Debra, wife of Henry Mise, of Lebanon, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather L. Miller-Neff; sister, Bonnie, wife of Mike Boltz, and Ruth, wife of David Brandt.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
