Mrs. Barbara A. Hardy, 86, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 1935, to the late Richard Katzel and Lillian Katzel nee Radke in Chicago, IL. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Colebrook, where she was very active with social outreach, banquets, prayer chair, and youth group. She was a member of Lawn Fire Co. Ceramics and enjoyed playing card games, especially Hand & Foot. Barbara always had her doors open to anyone in need.

Surviving are her four children, Dan Hardy, and spouse, Lucrecia, Dale Hardy, Diane Haney, and spouse, Tom, Donna Bennetch, and spouse, Bill, 10 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, and brother, John Katzel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Hardy, and her brother, Richard Katzel.

Viewing will be on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Colebrook.

Services will be on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church of Colebrook.

Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Manheim, following the service.
