Barbara A. Rinehart, 83, of Myerstown, died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Arthur W. Rinehart, to whom she was married for 61 years on June 27, 2025.

Born in West Reading, PA, on Oct. 4, 1942, Barbara was a daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Lightner) Ebling. She was a member of St. John’s Church, Mount Aetna. A 1960 graduate of Bethel High School, Barbara attended Kutztown University. She was employed as a budget analyst for the Department of the Navy for 15 years. Barbara also worked at the Myerstown Animal Hospital as well as H&R Block in Myerstown. She was quite possibly one of the most avid sports fans, having knowledge of many different sports teams and stadiums.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her daughter, Stacey, wife of Guy Arcieri, of Hanover, MD; sister, Nancy, wife of Vince Miller, of Leesport; and grandfurbabies, Faith and Rosie. She was preceded in death by multiple grandfurbabies, but most notably, Ozzy.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Merkey’s Cemetery, Bethel.
