Barbara L. “Bobbie” Wise, 85, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, at WellSpan York Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Henry J. “Hank” Wise.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on July 27, 1939, she was the daughter of the late John L. and June C. (Fox) Smith.

Bobbie attended Annville-Cleona High School. She had a deep Christian faith and was a devout member of the United Methodist Church. Bobbie spent time as a waitress at the Friendship Fire Company and as a correctional officer at the Lebanon County Prison.
Bobbie loved to cook for family and friends. She enjoyed watching the cowboy channel, the Pioneer Woman, and NASCAR, and she looked forward to her weekly lunch dates with her sisters.

Surviving are five children, Jeffrey L. Worcester, husband of Gina, of Lebanon, Debra L. Krause, wife of Stephen, of Lebanon, Tina L. Migliaccio, wife of Albert, of Lebanon, Michelle L. Martin, wife of Dale, of Annville, and Nicole L. Kropf, wife of Michael, of Lebanon; two sisters, Patricia Weinzierl, of Lebanon, and Nancy Macnamara, of Lebanon; 12 grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Emily, John, Matthew, Albert, Cole, Whitney, Ashley S., Brandon, Jessica, and Ashley K.; and 14 great-grandchildren, Makayla, Zoe, Maddox, Midas, Wrenna, Bennett, Sammie, Alina, Arthur, Chase, Maverick, Layla, Braden, and another great-granddaughter arriving this month.

In addition to her husband, Bobbie was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn L. Worcester; and brother, Kenneth Smith.

A public viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at the Mount Gretna United Methodist Church, 4th St. and Boehm Ave., Mt. Gretna, PA 17064. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Church. Interment will be held at Grand View Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
