Barbara L. (Hower) Russo died on April 17, 2026, at Mission Pines Nursing and Rehab Center, North Las Vegas, NV.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on Oct. 23, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Ezra and Lena (Bachman) Hower. Barbara was a 1973 graduate of Lebanon High School. Prior to moving to Las Vegas in 1978, she worked at Hershey Penn State Medical Center. She was employed as a medical secretary while in Las Vegas.
Barbara is survived by her siblings Joan Hower, of Mount Joy, Lonnie Hower (Patti), of Myerstown, Jean Heisey (Luke), of Palmyra, and Ann Steiner (George), of Fredericksburg, including 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and great-nephew, Matthew Shepps.
Services and internment will be private.
