Barry A. Hair, 65, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sept. 26, 2025, doing what he loved at Linda’s Speedway, watching the races. Barry fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Michelle L. (Brown) for 32 years.

Born in Lebanon on Nov. 2, 1959, Barry was the son of the late Betty (Fox) Hair and the late Frank A. Hair Jr. He retired from Ladd-Hanford in August 2024, ending his career in the automotive industry. He was a member of Speedwell Fire Co., where he was chief engineer and drove Engine 39. He worked for Linda’s Speedway for 28 years, staging, pushing cars, and flagging. Barry’s bowling team was the Flying Dutchman, where he was an avid bowler for 40 years.

In addition to his wife, Michelle, he is survived by his son, Cory A. Hair, daughter-in-law, Julianna McMullen, and granddaughter, Faye, all of Pine Grove. Faye was the apple of his eye. His sisters include Donna Keller, of Middletown, Joan Bame, of Elizabethtown, and Eileen Johns, of Myrtle Beach, SC. His brothers include Terry Hair, of Fredericksburg, VA, and Richard Hair, and wife, Joann, of Myrtle Beach, SC. Barry has nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., after which Barry will be laid to eternal rest at Hetzel’s Church Cemetery in Pine Grove.
