Barry L. Hummel, 72, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He was the husband of Faye E. Eberly Hummel. On April 6th, they celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on November 20, 1948, he was the son of the late Paul and Edith Birch Hummel. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Barry retired from Pennsy Supply, where he had been a truck driver. He was a member of the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church. Barry enjoyed racing, working on cars, camping, the Steelers, and especially fishing.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Tracey L. wife of Randy Mohn, of Fredericksburg, Heather L. Lentz, of Fredericksburg and Nicole L. wife of Jordan Baughman, of Anchorage, Alaska; sister Brenda Steele, of Jonestown; and grandchildren Tyler, Bryce, Chase, Brooke and Quinn.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Wanamaker.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bunker Hill E.C. Church, 2028 State Route 72, Lebanon, PA 17046. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church.
