Barry Nelson Bickel, 85, of Millersburg, PA, died on April 14, 2025, at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
Barry was born on June 22, 1939, in Robesonia, PA, the son of the late Harvey Chester Bickel and Mary (Yingst) Bickel. He was married to Charlotte Ruth (May) Bickel for 59 years.
Barry retired as a steelworker from Lebanon Steel Foundry after 21 years of service. He was a member of David’s Community Bible Church.
In addition to his wife, Charlotte, Barry is survived by children, Brian May, of Lebanon, Patricia Swartz, of Millersburg, Barry Bickel Jr., of Lebanon, and Mary Bickel, of Jonestown; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service on Friday, April 25, 2025, at David’s Community Bible Church, Millersburg, at 11 a.m.
