Bartley Francis Kaminski, 44, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Wednesday, June 8, 1977, in Langhorne to Bartley Constantine and Beverly Diane (Mahle) Kaminski of Palmyra. He is survived by his loving wife Nicole (Seely) Kaminski.
Bart graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 1995, attended Mansfield University, and later earned a degree in graphic design from HACC. He was the founder and owner of KollisionMedia and Hop Hedz Gear. In school, he excelled in sports with a passion for football and wrestling, was a political cartoonist garnering recognition and awards from the Patriot News.
Bart enjoyed golf, skateboarding, and playing in his band, From Dissension. He and his friends hiked a significant portion of the Application Trail in various segments. Bart had a servant’s heart, giving spirit with a passion for two charities, Elliott’s Wheels, and Kisses for EB. Most of all, Bart had the ability to connect people and foster those connections to achieve amazing things! His friendship and ear-to-ear smile will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two sisters, Tanya L. O’Connor and husband Devon, of Mechanicsburg and Catherine Powers and husband Chris, of Cheyenne, WY; four nieces and nephews, Sarah and Shane O’Connor, and Cassidy and Coleton Powers; two step-children, Ethan and Ellarie Clayton, of Lancaster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Fr. James F. Podlesny, O.S.B. as Celebrant. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Sunday, July 25th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra. Private burial will take place in Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Taylor.
