Beatrice “Tiny” Payne, 63, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at MS Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Stanley Payne, with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage.

Beatrice was born in Philadelphia on Aug. 25, 1960, to the late Lawrence Cuthbertson and Beatrice Newkirk.

She worked at MS Hershey Medical Center as an OR aide. Beatrice was a member of Lebanon Valley Harvest Ministries, where she was very active in ministries such as the bread ministry. She loved her backyard escape and being outdoors, playing the lottery, having get-togethers with her friends and family, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and cats, Stripes and Peppa.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is her children, Troy Newkirk (Anna), Roycee Calloway (Jamaal), Christopher Samuel (Kinya), Caree Awer (Neville), and Julius Samuel; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Robert Newkirk, Gary Newkirk, Ronald Newkirk, Evangela Newkirk, Lawrence Newkirk, Alethia Hines, Renee Avery, Frankie Newkirk, Aaron Newkirk, and Thomas Cuthbertson.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Thomas Carter.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lebanon Valley Harvest Ministries, 410 N. 9th St., Lebanon. There will be a viewing from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
