Bernadine Shiner, 69, of Fredericksburg died peacefully Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center, surrounded by her loving son and daughter.

Born in Lebanon on July 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Fancovic and the late Elsie Jacoby Fancovic. Bernadine worked as an LPN at the Good Samaritan Hospital for 34 years. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School in 1969, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Surviving is one daughter, Allison Boyer of Fredericksburg, one son, Jonathan Shiner, of Lebanon, three brothers, Stephen Fancovic, husband of Trish, of Maryland, Phillip Fancovic, husband of Ruth, of Lebanon, Dennis Fancovic, of Womelsdorf, lifelong best friend Teresa Leiss-Garcia, of New York, five grandchildren, Mikayla Zechman, Davin Zechman, Joshua Shiner, Hannah Shiner, Bella Cheresini, all of Fredericksburg, one great-grandchild, Kalie Mae Kohr of Fredericksburg, and many nieces and nephews.
