Bertha M. Lewis, 78, of Duncannon, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.

Born in Bernville on Oct. 16, 1946, Bertha was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Louise (Sheldneck) Emerich. She worked in injection molding for Post Precision Castings in Strausstown. She was a member of the Roseglen United Methodist Church and had been a member of the Teamsters Union. Bertha was loved by her family and will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

Bertha is survived by her sons, Carl W. Fisher, of Duncannon, James E. (wife, Emily) Engle, of Jonestown, and William H. Fisher, of Lykins; daughter, Lori A., wife of James Britto, of Haines City, FL; brothers, Barry Emerich, of Shartlesville, and Michael Emerich, of Reading; sisters, Ardell Heintzelman, of Orwigsburg, Jo Ann Delong, of Hamburg, and Ruth (husband, Connie) Horst, of FL; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bertha was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Emerich; and sister, Mary Ann Bylina.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 1 p.m., at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. Inurnment will follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon.
