Betty Ann Phillips, 89, of Myerstown, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023, at StoneRidge Towne Center.

She was born Saturday, May 13, 1933, to the late Henry S. Bicksler and Edna M. Bicksler nee Wolf in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Betty was a 1951 graduate of Lebanon High School and earned her cosmetology license at the Ken-Delle School of Cosmetology in Harrisburg in 1952. She was a devoted beautician who worked and managed local beauty salons in the Lebanon area until her retirement. If Betty wasn’t busy doing hair, she was found cooking, baking, knitting, and gardening. She was also a Sunday school teacher at Salem Lutheran Church on North Eighth Street in Lebanon.

Betty is survived by her sister, Elsie Hower, and spouse, Ernest; nieces, Jane Straub, Louise Shirk, and spouse, Robert Shirk, and Brenda Sterling, and spouse, David Sterling; nephew, Barry Hower, and spouse, Placida, and many loving friends.

She is predeceased by her loving husband, Walter A. Phillips; and siblings, Harry Bicksler, Helen Conrad, Mildred Bixler, Lillian Bicksler, and John Bicksler.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church, 119 N 8^th St, Lebanon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the Service starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Betty may be sent to Salem Lutheran Evangelical Church, attn: Salem Preservation Fund, 119 North Eighth Street, Lebanon, PA.
