Betty Gerhart Werner, 98, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Spang Crest in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Luke A. Werner, who passed in 2003.

Betty was born in Lebanon on July 14, 1924, to the late William Gerhart and Anna (Kale) Gerhart.

She had worked in clothing sales and then as a factory worker – prior to retirement. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lebanon, where she was a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years. Betty also volunteered in the gift shop at Spang Crest. When she was younger, she enjoyed sewing clothing for her daughters. She and Luke took many bus tours around the US. She enjoyed making ceramics, baking, reading, and going to plays, Lebanon Community concerts, and The Hershey Theatre.

She is survived by her daughters, Sara W. Fiegenschuh, and her husband, Karl, of Shoreview, MN, Ellen Gundrum, of Lebanon, grandchildren, Kara McGuire, and her husband, Matthew, Emily Fiegenschuh, and her husband, Vinod Rams, Edward Gundrum, Rebecca Heim, and her husband, Ryan, and great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Ted, and August McGuire, and Zachary, and Austin Heim.

Services will be held privately.
