With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Betty Jane Lutz, who passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on July 28, 1941, Betty lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, determination, and unconditional love.

She made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her through her vivacious spirit and giving heart. Betty found joy in giving in every form, whether through gifting her baked goods, heartfelt acts of kindness, or simply sharing her love and knowledge of life with family and friends. Betty had many interests that brought her happiness throughout her life. She especially loved baking, reading, traveling, jazz music, and dancing.

Throughout her life, Betty embraced a variety of occupations, including welding, manufacturing, and caregiving. No matter the role, she approached her work with compassion, dedication, and a desire to help others.

Above all else, Betty’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love and support formed the foundation of her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Lutz. Betty is survived by her children, Leroy Lutz, and his wife, Sharon, Kevin Lutz, and his wife, Lorena, Keith Lutz, and his wife, Rita, and Katrina Albright, and her husband, William Albright Jr. She is also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Betty also treasured the friendships she built throughout her life. Whether in Pennsylvania or Florida, she had a remarkable gift for forming deep and lasting relationships. Her friends became an extension of her family, and she cherished the laughter, support, and memories they shared.

Betty’s legacy is one of selflessness, generosity, and unwavering love. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched, the traditions she created, and the love she gave so freely.

In accordance with Betty’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or memorial. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her life was one well lived and asks those who knew her to honor her memory by sharing an act of kindness and giving, just as she did every day.
