Betty L. Lineweaver, 74, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2021, surrounded by her family at the WellSpan GSH-Lebanon. She was the wife of Donny L. Lineweaver. On Jan. 5, they would have celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on Jan. 20, 1947, Betty was one of 15 children, and the daughter of the late Melvin and Cora (Dove) Ritchie.

Betty was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a graduate of Tulpehocken class of 1966. Betty loved to bake, sew, get her nails done, and enjoyed her time with her grandkids.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, JD Lineweaver, and his wife, Lisa, of Mt. Zion, and Ina Arkenberg-Kallmeyer, and her husband, Freddy, of Hannover, Germany. Betty was the very beloved grandmother of JD Lineweaver, and his wife, Taylor, of Jonestown, and Parker Lineweaver. She is also survived by her brothers, Thomas Ritchie, of Frystown, and John Ritchie, of Bethel, and her sister, Tressie Reber, of Lebanon. Betty has a family that stretches from Germany to Virginia to Montana and even to California!

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Claude, Luke, Curtis, Paul, Ray, and Roy “Butch” Ritchie, and her sisters, Edith Dunham, Goldie Whitman, Alta Strauser, Mary Smith, and Grace Stonesifer.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be sent to the Mt. Zion Social Club, where Betty enjoyed many Thursday nights with her family.
