Betty Lou Boyer, 74, of Myerstown, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025. She was the wife of Stephen L. Boyer. They celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on July 12.

Born in Roaring Spring on May 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur L. and Betty L. (Aungst) Snyder. Betty graduated from Central High School in Roaring Spring with the class of 1969. She worked in childcare for various daycare centers. Betty enjoyed watching college sports on TV, and she loved animals. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Stephen Jr., husband of Staci Boyer, of Myerstown; daughter, Stacey L. Boyer, and her partner, Christine M. Hartman, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Casey L. and Cody L. Boyer; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Dylan; and brother, Denny L. Snyder, of Martinsburg. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sonny E. Snyder.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until the start of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
