Beverly A. “Bev” Graham, 68, of Myerstown, passed away on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Graham Jr., who passed in 2005.

Bev, more affectionately known as “Mammaw,” was born in Lebanon on March 16, 1956, to the late Harry and Loretta M. (Gromis) Brewer.

She attended Penn State University and the University of South Dakota. Bev worked at the former ECC Nursing Home and ELCO as a lunch monitor. She was a member of the 7th Day Adventist. She helped with local fire companies, by donating to their firehouses. Bev was very active in the Boy Scouts of America. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis, singing, and going to concerts. Her greatest passion in life was taking care of children. She was known for having a heart for all children.

Surviving are her sons, Jeremy R. Checket (Alicia), of Hamburg, and Timmy A. Checket (Megan), of Sumter, SC; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and siblings, Theresa Zimmerman, of Lebanon, Harry “Butch” Brewer (Lynn), of Fredericksburg, and Dale Brewer, of Jonestown. She is also survived by her loving fiancée of 17 years, Rev. Dr. Chester Kirchman; and extended family members, Kayden Showers, Tanner Kale, and Julia (Gladwell). She is also survived by her stepchildren.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Richard Checket; and daughter, April Marie Checket.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
