Beverly DeFee McDonald, PMP, 72, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Oct. 30, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Wesley Gene McDonald, who passed away in 2011.
Beverly was born in Bastrop, LA, on Nov. 6, 1950, to the late Levern and Gertrude (Wooden) DeFee.
She worked as a project manager for Halliburton and served as a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Lititz, PA. She belonged to the Lebanon Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution. An avid genealogy researcher, Beverly enjoyed creating stained-glass art and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Cassie Wuensche (John), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Charlotte and Jack; and brother, Arthur DeFee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, John Davis (Lisa), Michelle Davis, Renee McIntyre (Michael), Dr. Nicole DeFee Neece (Jeremy), Amy Cossio (Eddie), Joshua DeFee (Susan), Amy Antley (Eric), Julie Hayes (Michael), Jay Brown Jr., and Christy Brown (Randy).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home, 618 E. Main St., Annville. There will be a viewing from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Annville, PA. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop, LA, on Nov. 11, 2023, with visitation and services preceding at Cox Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that gifts of time, talent, and treasure be donated to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046.
