Bonnie L. Dechert, 67, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at her residence with her family by her side. She was the wife of Paul H. Dechert, to whom she was married for 40 years.

Born in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Leonard L. and Ann L. (Duffy) Meyer. Bonnie was an LPN for 51 years. She worked at the Good Samaritan Hospital and the Pleasant View Nursing Home, was a travel nurse in Lemoyne, and worked at Cedar Haven in the dementia ward. Bonnie enjoyed being with her grandchildren, watching TV, and listening to disco music and her favorite song, “The Love Shack” by the B-52’s. She raised seahorses in her aquarium and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Paul, she is survived by her sons, Derek Boehler, and wife, Taryn, Kevin Dechert, and wife, Deanna, Diane, wife of Brent Blandino, and Tiffany, wife of Leon Simmons; grandchildren, Alexander, Eden, Audrey, Kaleb, Brianna, Alexis, Ariana, and Aurora; brother, Scott Maier; and sisters, Dawn Meyer, Nicole Meyer, Jennifer Meyer, and Cynthia Seibert, and wife, Donna Lash.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will form at 10 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. We will be leaving promptly at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home.
