C. Monroe Krall, 89, of Myerstown, died on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Cedar Haven.

He was born on Friday, July 7, 1933, to the late Ethan A. Krall Sr. and Anna L. Krall nee Boyer in Lebanon.

He was a member of Myerstown United Church of Christ and was a veteran of the Army in the Vietnam War. Monroe retired from Alcoa and enjoyed camping, hunting, dancing, and traveling.

Surviving are wife, Shirley M. Krall nee Umbenhauer; children, Terry L. Krall, and spouse, Laura A. Stratton Krall, and Sharon L. Miller, and spouse, Brian Miller; grandchildren, Megan J. Krall-Pinero, and spouse, Jeremy, Timothy M. Krall, Keith R. Miller, and spouse, Bryce, and Kerri Miller, and fiance, Dylan Zemitis; and great-grandchild, Geralt L. Pinero.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Ethan A. Krall Jr., George R. Krall, Cora L. Heiser, and Joan Shatzer.

Viewing will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 11 AM to 12 PM at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown, with full military honors, following the service.
