C. William LeVan, 92, of Myerstown, PA, died Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, at StoneRidge Towne Centre. He was the husband of Nancy Ann (March) LeVan. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 9, 2020.
Born in Reading, PA on July 5, 1928, William was the son of the late Homer Russel and Edith Emily (Hendren) LeVan. A 1946 graduate of Shillington High School, William graduated from Albright College in 1950 with a Bachelors Degree and Temple University in 1958 with his Doctorate in Dentistry (DDS).
Dr. LeVan served in the U.S. Army during Korean War. He retired in 1994 after 31 years as a dentist at a private dental practice. William was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Sinking Spring, PA, a fifty-year member of Masonic Chandler Lodge 227, and Reading Scottish Rite. He was an avid collector of stamps and coins.
In addition to his wife, William is survived by a son, William Charles (Alisa) LeVan, of Margate, FL, sister, Ruth Eleanor Price, of West Lawn, PA, three nephews, and two nieces.
Services are private at the convenience of the family.
