Carl L. Fasnacht, 93, of Palmyra died Thursday, September 9, 2021, at Londonderry Village. He was the husband of the late Dorothy R. (Ristenbatt) Fasnacht.
Born in Palmyra on July 14, 1928, he was the son of the late Lester Fasnacht and the late Sara (Eshelman) Fasnacht. Carl was a Veteran of the United States Army, and an Associate Food Technologist at the Hershey Company for 46 years. He was a relief house parent for Milton Hershey Schools for 15 years and drove 15 years for People Movers in Derry Township. Carl was a member of Fishburn United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir and served on various committees. He also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving is a son, Steven Fasnacht, husband of Tammy of Mount Joy, two sisters, Marion Weaver of Annville, Janet Reed, wife of Lester of Florida, five grandchildren, Justin, Lizabeth, Destiny Ann, Stephanie, Stephen, and one great-grandchild, Ava Marie. He is preceded in death by his three brothers, Wayne, Robert, and Harold Fasnacht.
A public visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15th at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main Street Annville, PA 17003. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Fishburn U.M. Church, 1215 Fishburn Road Hershey, PA 17033 in his memory. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is overseeing arrangements.
