Carmen D. Albright, 83, of Myerstown, passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on Feb. 24, 1942, in Lewiston, ME, to the late Herbert and Gertrude (Cote) Day, Carmen lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her unwavering spirit and deep love for her family. A dedicated entrepreneur, Carmen spent 27 years working alongside her husband, Larry Albright, in cake decorating supplies. Together, they built a successful business that brought joy and creativity to countless customers.

Carmen’s passion for her business mirrored her generosity of spirit, as she often shared her delicious creations with family and friends. Before her entrepreneurial journey, she worked as a Registered Nurse, a profession that showcased her compassion and dedication to caring for others. This nurturing character extended beyond her career and influenced the way she connected with those around her.

Carmen was a woman of many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed playing golf, cheering on the Phillies, and making cherished memories while camping and swimming with her family. Her zest for life and enthusiasm for new experiences were infectious and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Carmen leaves behind her beloved husband, Larry R. Albright; daughter, Karen Williams (Sam); son, Gregg Albright (Lisa); grandchildren, Alyssa Albright and Adam Ababou; great-grandchild, Benjamin Albright; and brothers, Herbert Day Jr. and Ronald Day. She was a loving and devoted matriarch, and her legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family.
