Carmen E. Maysonet, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2023, at the age of 55. She was born on Jan. 10, 1968, in Carolina, Puerto Rico, to Jesus Maysonet and Carmen Salgado.
She was a dedicated individual who found joy in the simple pleasures, including solving word puzzles, coloring books, and engaging in the captivating drama of soap operas.
Carmen was a compassionate woman who deeply cherished her family. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Jose Rodriguez, and her three sons, Jonathan Erausquin, Jose Baez, and Joshua Erausquin. Carmen’s spirit will continue to resonate through her dear grandchildren, Jayvon Erausquin, Keyani Erausquin, Iyana Erausquin, Angelise Erausquin, Arya Erausquin, Josh Erausquin Jr., Miles Erausquin, and Geneova Baez. Additionally, her sister, Lizandra Montero, her mother-in-law, Carmen Reyes, and her brother-in-law, Victor Reyes, will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A funeral ceremony will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc. at 1 p.m., following a public viewing at 12 p.m. A graveside service to honor Carmen’s life will take place on Dec. 18, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at the Kimmerlings Cemetery.
