Carol A. Laudenslager, 77, passed away on Aug. 31, 2025, in Lebanon, PA.
Carol was born on Sept. 11, 1947, in Celina, OH, to Dale and Margaret Chapman. After graduating from high school, Carol enjoyed a career as a nurse’s aide. Even after her retirement, Carol had a natural heart for caregiving, which she continued to apply toward other seniors in her residence. She truly loved helping people. Toward the end of her life, Carol was beloved in turn by her nursing staff.
Carol married Joseph Laudenslager Jr. Carol was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed reading fiction novels. Carol will be best remembered as a vibrant and outgoing spirit.
Carol is survived by her stepdaughter, Tina Knutson, of TX; sister, Wendy (David) Morrissey; and step-grandsons, Jeffrey Auman, of San Diego, CA, and Ian Auman, of Lancaster, PA. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Laudenslager Jr.; and sister, Nancy Chapman.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made in Carol’s name to Cedar Haven Healthcare Center.
