Carol L. Rank, 86, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Richard R. Rank, who passed away in 2010.

Carol was born in Elkhorn, WI on January 24, 1936, to the late Charles and Martha (Schinke) August.

She retired from San Georgio Pasta in Hershey. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Knights of Columbus, Mt. Zion Fire Company, Ebenezer Fire Company & Auxiliary, and “R” Field and Stream. She enjoyed playing BINGO, going to the casino, reading, drawing, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Gary R. Rank (Vickie) of Lebanon, Vicki Peters (Joe) Hummelstown, Cindy Scheidler (Charles) of Lebanon, Michele O’Byle of Fredericksburg, Jeffrey Rank of Fredericksburg, Lisa Vracarich (Milan) of Jonestown, 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and her brother, Gerald August of Elkhorn, WI.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Rank, her daughter, Lori May Rank, and sisters, Jeanette Root and Harriette August.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 5 PM from Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. There will be a viewing held from 4 PM – 5 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon.
