Carol Louise Shutter, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Cornwall Manor. She was the wife of the late John A. Shutter.

Born in Lebanon, PA on Apr. 21, 1941, Carol was a daughter of the late Felton Miller and Henrietta (Markey) Miller-Billingham. She worked in retail at Sears and was a part-time homemaker. She loved to shop, was impeccably dressed and accessorized, and was always referred to as a “fashionista” by her friends and co-workers. She loved playing cards and games, keeping her iPad by her side all day long tackling Candy Crush and Bejeweled.

Carol is survived by two children, John A. Shutter, Jr., and spouse, Bob Rinaldi, and Kim Kleinfelter, and spouse, John Kleinfelter; two grandchildren, Corey Kleinfelter, and spouse, Becky Kleinfelter, and Jared Kleinfelter, and companion, Krystal Stevenson; and four great-grandchildren, Mya, Ashlyn, Jared Kleinfelter, Jr., and Carter Ober.

A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021 at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy consider make a donation in Carol’s name to the National Alzheimers Association @ alz.org
