Carol Meyer Grace, affectionally known as “MaMa,” 85, of Palmyra, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Londonderry Village. She is survived by her loving husband, D. John Grace Jr., and was preceded in death by her late husband, Roy M. Meyer.
Born in Hershey, PA, on July 17, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Ira M. and Miriam N. (Lingle) Baum. Carol was also preceded in death by her brother, Jay L. Baum.
Carol’s life is exemplified by her never-ending love for her family. Her strong faith in God led her to a life of service. She exemplified this service in the Palmyra Church of the Brethren, of which she was a member since 1958. She also enjoyed her bookkeeping work in the family business, H. L. Meyer, Inc., for many years.
Carol was married to her high school sweetheart, Roy, and they raised their family together for 40 years. After his passing, she found love again and was married to John for the past 24 years. John was a devoted caregiver throughout Carol’s recent illnesses.

Meyer, husband of Kelly (Annville); grandchildren, Jessica Wenger, wife of Christopher, William E. Graves III, husband of Hilary, Jenna Benedict, wife of Bo, Chelsea Logan, wife of Douglas, and Erica Veach, wife of Michael. She considered John’s family her own, which consists of three children, D. John Grace III, husband of Sandra (Palmyra), Nancy G. Bogdonoff (Palmyra), and Kathleen K. Grace (Palmyra); four grandchildren, Jacob Bogdonoff, husband of Ann Mason, Eleanor Bogdonoff, Robert Grace, husband of Karla, and Daniel Grace; and five great grandchildren, Fox Bogdonoff, Stella Bogdonoff, Alex Crosby, Aram Crosby, and Izabella Crosby.
