Carolyn M. Rorabaugh, 84, of Annville, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2024, at Providence Place in Pine Grove. She was the wife of David Lee Rorabaugh, with whom she celebrated 33 years of marriage.
Carolyn was born in Pine Grove on Aug. 29, 1940, to the late Elwyn and Stella (Huber) Mease. She was a 1958 Pine Grove High School graduate. She went on to graduate from medical assistant school. Carolyn worked as an administrative assistant for Hershey Medical Center for 17 years. She also worked for Dr. Prescott. In addition, she worked for the Department of Military Affairs at Fort Indiantown Gap, Lebanon Valley College, and The Navy Depot. Carolyn was a longtime member of Palm Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cleaning, playing piano, cooking, watching birds, especially goldfinches and cardinals, antiquing, babysitting, and traveling to bed and breakfasts and to Vermont, Norman Rockwell Bed and Breakfast, Europe, and London. Carolyn was known for being selfless and a very nurturing and caring mom.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Nicole Kelley, and husband, Dale. She was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Mease.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024, from 6-8 p.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Palm Lutheran Church, 11 W. Cherry St., Palmyra. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. that morning at the church. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Rte. 934, Annville.
