Carolyn M. Yorty, 96, of Lebanon, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at the Alpine Valley Post Acute and Healthcare Center (formerly Spang Crest Manor). She was the wife of the late Harold E. Yorty.
Born in Bethel on May 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Catherine Sherman Forry.
Carolyn retired from Farmer’s Pride, where she worked as an inspector’s helper. She was a member of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Susie) Yorty, of Northampton, and Eric (Becky) Yorty, of Jonestown; daughter, Gail (David) Krall, of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Matt, Elizabeth, Mark Jr., Melissa, Mike, Brian, Sara, and Isha; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kay Beard; and brothers, Charlie, Evan, and Leon Forry.
Graveside services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, East Hanover Township, at the convenience of the family.
