Carrie E. Walmer, 96, of Jonestown, was born on Dec. 11, 1927, in Lebanon, PA. She passed away peacefully on May 18, 2024, at Lebanon Valley Home.

She cherished time spent in her yard, taking walks and finding solace in the simple joys of bird watching. Carrie’s appreciation for the natural world reflected her gentle spirit.

Surviving is her daughters, Marcia Noll and Lori Waddell; her grandchildren, Shelly Williams, Ron Barshinger, Mandy Schultz, Shannon McMinn, and Thomas Noll; eight great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchilden; four brothers; and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Walmer; and her son, Randy Walmer.

In remembrance of Carrie’s life, a viewing will be held at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc. on May 29, 2024, at 10 a.m., followed by services at 11 a.m. Graveside services will take place at Grand View Memorial Park after the service.
