Catherine I. Kaylor, 85, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Londonderry Village, Palmyra, PA. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Galen J. Kaylor, who was also her devoted caregiver throughout her long illness with dementia. They resided in South Annville Township before moving to Palmyra Borough. Born in North Lebanon Township on Dec. 19, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. Weible Sr. and Sarah E. Schaeffer Weible.

Catherine worked at Quarry’s Luncheonette and in the Business Office of the Bell Telephone Company for several years before she began to raise her family. She volunteered in the A-C school district and the gift shop at Good Samaritan Hospital and taught English to Vietnamese refugees in 1975. Catherine and Galen have been members of the Annville United Methodist Church for over 60 years and were active in the singles and doubles Sunday School class, where she was secretary for several years. Catherine was very proud of her accomplishment of receiving a college degree from LVC in 1980. She worked in the Customer Service Department at Hershey Chocolate Co. for 15 years before retiring in 1996.

Catherine was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, hiking, visiting with friends, reading, and spending time on the computer, and her most enjoyable hobby was collecting Depression glassware.

In addition to her husband, Galen, she is survived by her daughters, Audrey, wife of Timothy Brandt, of Cleona, Sarah, wife of Thomas Witmer, of Mechanicsburg, and Jane, wife of Daniel Dows, of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Rebecca, wife of Erik Clayton, Gregory Brandt, and wife, Emily, Douglas Dows, and wife, Lillian Reed, Benjamin Dows, and wife, Jenna, and Jacob Witmer; and great-grandchildren, Genavieve, Christopher, Timothy, and Vivienne Clayton, Morgan, Tyler and Michelle Brandt, and Chloe and Mila Dows. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ellen Schiavoni, Thomas Weible Jr., Arlene Byle, Patricia Pantelich, and Joanne Spaulding.
