Charles J. Massar, 78, of Myerstown, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at his residence. He was the husband of Elaine E. (Gross) Massar, to whom he was married 57 years on July 13, 2020.
Born in Lebanon, PA on Aug. 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Steven and Mary (Martalis) Massar. A 1960 graduate of Lebanon High School, Charles served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was employed at the Lebanon Steel Foundry. Charles was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Chris Massar, companion of Angie Wagner, of Myerstown, Bryan Massar, of Lebanon; grandchildren, Justin, Nick, Tyler, and Shirley E. Massar; and a brother, Richard Massar, of Lebanon.
Services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
