Charles K. Wagner, 86, of Myerstown, died Friday, September 17, 2021, at his residence.
He was the husband of Carole L. (Caskie) Wagner, to whom he was married 55 years.
Born in Lebanon, PA on September 14, 1935, he was a son of the late Roger and Catherine P. (Garman) Wagner. A 1953 graduate of Lebanon High School, Charles attended Memorial United Methodist Church, Lebanon. He then became a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, Lebanon, where he served on the administration board. He was employed as a printer at the Lebanon Daily News for over 40 years, retiring in 1996. He was an active adult member of the GSUSA Penn Laurel Council; a member of the North Jackson Grange 1740, serving as steward and caretaker of the building and grounds; and was a member of the Typographical Union for 63 years. He always loved his antique Cadillac.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by daughters, Lisa Hill, of Myerstown, Justine, wife of Jason Bewley, of Myerstown; grandchildren, Mindy, Jacob, Shane, Tara; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Elva Boughter and Mary Troxell; and brothers, John, Paul, Adam, and Richard Wagner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Hebron United Methodist Church, Lebanon, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
