Charles L. Heffelfinger, 76, passed away on Aug. 5, 2026, in his hometown of Lebanon, PA.
Charles Heffelfinger was born on March 26, 1950, to G. Warren Heffelfinger and Pauline Heffelfinger née Hoffa. After Charles graduated from high school, he enjoyed a long career as an area dairy farmer for three decades. Upon retiring from the dairy industry, Charles maintained his farming skills by transitioning into work as a landscaper.
A willing public servant, Charles was the chief of the Mount Zion Community Fire Company for 35 years. Charles was passionate about the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and gardening vegetables and flowers. Charles belonged to Zoar Evangelical Lutheran Church, having been both baptized and married there.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Nicole Heffelfinger; granddaughter, Melissa Lane, and her fiancé, Blake Ressler; sister, Louise Heffelfinger; and nephew, Luther Early. Charles was preceded in death by his baby brother.
Services for Mr. Charles Heffelfinger will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
