Charles (Chuck) M. Zearfoss, 82, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at home and surrounded by family, just several weeks after a cancer diagnosis. He was the husband of the late Gail M. Zearfoss, and on May 2, they will celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary together in Heaven.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Sept. 21, 1943, he was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Zearfoss. Chuck had a long career as a Local 404 Union Ironworker, from which he retired in 2002. He was a proud Air Force veteran, serving from 1961 to 1965, and was a member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, Lebanon. He enjoyed working out at the Y, spending time with his thoughts while mowing the yard, and taking care of his family.

He is survived by his sons, Charles M. Jr., and his wife, Susan Zearfoss, of Lexington, KY, David W. Zearfoss, and his partner, Diane Strickler, of Lebanon, Richard J. Zearfoss, of Annville, and James J. Zearfoss, of Lebanon; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and beloved sisters-in-law, Paula, Faith, Christine, and Eileen.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will form at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, Route 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown, at 9:45 a.m. Immediately following the service, a celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at Fredericksburg Community Center, 125 S. Tan Alley, Fredericksburg, PA 17026.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
