Charles R. Clark, 83, of Fredericksburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024, at his residence.
Born in Washington Township, Schuylkill County, on July 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Arthur R. and Eva V. (Behm) Clark.
Charles worked for various companies during his working career and retired from Hershey Foods. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, coin collecting, reading about and studying history, antiquing, and going to flea markets.
He is survived by his son, Steven R., husband of Claudia M. Clark, and daughter, Sheila A. Schauer, both of Fredericksburg; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Jill Clark, of NC; and sister, Teresa Jones.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles J. Clark; and brothers, Leroy and Ernest Clark.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
