It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles S. Agee Sr., a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Born on May 20, 1938, in Winchester, KY, Charles served his country in the Navy during the Korean War.

He was known for his dedication to his work at Hershey Foods, Maguire, Klick Lewis, and Van Winkle’s Opera Fudge. Charles found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time with his beloved wife, Sandra “Sandy” Agee, or engaging in his passions for hunting, firearms, and reloading ammunition. He was an active member of the Jonestown Rod & Gun Club and volunteered at the Humane Society Thrift Store, showcasing his compassionate and giving nature. His family meant everything to him, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and support for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Charles cherished moments shared with his family, whether it was enjoying spaghetti suppers at church, going out to eat, or playing Bingo with his wife (and disliked it if he didn’t win).

Surviving are his wife, Sandra L. Agee (Smith); daughters, Peggy Engle (Keith) and Connie Agee; sons, Charles “Steve” Agee Jr. (Susan) and Michael Agee (Michelle); step-children, Kevin Leaman and Rebecca Leaman; grandchildren, Peter, Joseph, Danielle, Aaron, Andrew, Brenden, and Kiara; and many great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Charles Agee Sr. will be held on June 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville. Please meet at Christman’s Funeral Home at 10 a.m. for procession formation. Services will be interpreted by an American Sign Language Professional.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society Thrift Store, 129 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042.
