Charles W. Dumbauld, 80, of Annville died Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at the Hershey Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Sherri L. (Seitz) Dumbauld.

Born in Hershey on September 21, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles D. Dumbauld and the late Hilda I. Wagner. Charles worked in Propane Delivery for Agway. He was an avid bowler and hunter, and animal lover.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Chuck A. Dumbauld, husband of Cynthia of Lebanon, Robert E. Rothermel of Myerstown, Michael L. Rothermel of Annville, two daughters, Lori A. Backenstoes, wife of John B. of Harrisburg, Cindy K. Thatcher, wife of Todd G. of California, two brothers, Jerry Dumbauld, husband of Cecilia of Tennessee, Larry Dumbauld of Selinsgrove, a sister, Susan Dumbauld of Florida, a sister-in-law, Barb Dumbauld of Annville, ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jack Dumbauld, and a sister, Edna Basehore.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 27th at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main Street Annville, PA 17003. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday before the service. Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Annville is overseeing arrangements.
