Charles W. “Skip” McMinn Jr., 85, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, surrounded by family. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Bender) McMinn, with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Skip was born in Lebanon on Aug. 25, 1938, to the late Charles W. “Charlie” McMinn and Dorothy “Dot” (Slyke) McMinn.
He was a welder at Buel Engineering. He was a volunteer at the Independent Fire Company and a lifelong Dodgers and Ford Nascar fan. He enjoyed being at Tuckahoe Acres in Dagsboro, Delaware. While he was there, he would enjoy boating, fishing, and golf cart rides with his granddaughter.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Chuck McMinn (Shannon), of Jonestown, Lori McMinn, of Lebanon, and Amy Lingle (Jeremy), of Middletown; his granddaughter, Keri Ann Lingle, who affectionately loved her P-Pop; and his sisters, Dottie Trainor, of Palmyra, and Faye Frantz, of Greer, SC.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd McMinn.
