Charlotte D. Allwein, 85, of Fox Grove, VA, and previously of Pennsylvania, wife of Charles Allwein, passed away on January 10, 2024 in Onancock, VA.

Born on November 7, 1938 in Lebanon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul Ditzler and Alma Neidig Ditzler. Charlotte worked as an Executive Secretary for several companies. She enjoyed downhill skiing, painting, and being a homemaker. She also played the piano for the local nursing home and was the judge of elections in her community.

Other than her beloved husband, Chuck, Charlotte is survived by her son, Drew Allwein and wife, Linda of Fox Grove and a granddaughter, Madison Allwein Perez her husband, Simon.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.

Arrangements are by the Thornton Funeral Home in Parksley, VA.
