Charlotte Kohr, 76, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020, at the Wyomissing Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was the wife of Carl E. Kohr, Sr. On June 28th, they celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary.
Born in Swatara Twp. on July 23, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Herman W. and Bessie E. Wagner Leeper. Charlotte had worked as a cashier and cook for Trainer’s Midway Diner, and, before that, she had worked as a secretary for Cal Hetrick. She was a member of the Bible Fellowship Church of Lebanon. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and canning, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Carl E. Kohr, Jr. of Fredericksburg; daughters Donna M. wife of Dennis Kramer of Myerstown and Jody L. Kohr of Fredericksburg; brothers William Leeper of Jonestown and Frank Leeper of Lebanon; sister Ethel Kohr of Jonestown; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her bothers Herman Leeper, Morris Leeper, Harold “Nick” Leeper and Charles Leeper, and her sisters Bessie Stamm and Ruby Leeper.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 9:30 a.m. at Grand View Memorial Park.
